When to Use Cold, Heat, and Compression
The H&C System supports every stage of rehabilitation — from acute injury to full recovery — without switching devices.
Acute Phase (Day 0–7) — Cold Therapy at 4–10°C
Reduce swelling and pain immediately after surgery or injury. Apply 15-20 minutes per session. The H&C System maintains exact temperature throughout — no gradual warming like ice.
Recovery Phase (Week 2+) — Heat Therapy at 38–45°C
Once acute swelling subsides, heat therapy relaxes muscles, increases blood flow, and improves joint mobility. Apply before stretching exercises or manual therapy for better range of motion.
All Phases — Compression Enhances Both Cold & Heat
